To encourage students to participate actively in the joint ISAF-PFM-2011 Conference, the Organizing Committee has planned the following various students-oriented events and programs:
| Short Courses | on Sunday July 24, 2011 |
| Poster Competition | Poster Competition will be organized, and Poster Awards will be presented to the winning students at the Conference Dinner on Tuesday evening, July 26, 2011 |
| Financial Assistance | Limited financial support will be granted based upon the scientific merit of the paper, the student's academic standing and financial need. Please submit a formal request upon acceptance of your abstract, along with statements of your contribution and your financial need, as well as your brief CV, to ISAF-PFM-2011@sfu.ca. |
